ORGANISATION MOMENT
Teacher greets with learners and asks todays duty. Teacher divides them into four groups with the help of seasons picture.
Warm up.
1.Starting the lesson. Group work
Teacher brings some clothes or display some pictures of clothes the class has learnt. Teacher needs a mix of summer and winter clothes, e.g.
Revise hot and teach cold, using mime. Teacher shows a garment and asks it`s for summer season or winter season?

Presentation
Teacher uses the flashcards (weather) to teach the vocabulary. Holds up the flashcards again , this time individual pupils to say the words.
Sing a song
Pupils sing a song about the seasons and they review the new words with help of this song
Listen, point and say.
Group work
Play CD1 pausing after each word. Pupils point at the small weather pictures at the bottom of page . Play the recording again. Pupils point and repeat each word.
Practice
Pairs work.
Teacher divides the class into pairs. Pupils A ask “what is his\her favourite season ?” pupils B answer their question. Then they swap roles.
Writing
Pupils write todays new words on their vocabulary book
Read and match
Pupils read the sentence in( pupils book page 93 exercise 11) and they will match them.
Look and circle the right word
Pupils look at the picture of seasons and circle the right word
Activity book page 54 exercise 3
DYNAMIC BREAK
Pupils sing a song and repeat acts on video
Game
Group work
Teacher divides the class into two groups. Callsa pupil from Group A and secretly show him\her a weather flashcard (any except cloud and wind). The pupil mimes getting dressed up to go out in the type of weather in the flashcard. Group A must guess the weather e.g. Rain! Or Snow! If they guess correctly they get a point. Then Group B takes a turn.
