The theme of the lesson: At MacDonald’s
The aims of the lesson:
1. Educational: presentation of the construction “ How much is that?”, to enrich the vocabulary (Anything to drink? Anything else?)
2. Developing: To develop pupil’s habits and skills in reading, writing and speaking, memory and mental activities.
3. Bringing up: to develop the ability of self – studying, to attract the pupils attention to the language peculiarities, to develop interest to the subject.
The type of the lesson: studying the new theme
The methods of the lesson: group work, individual work, brainstorming.
Visual aids: an alphabet, CD, workbooks, cards.
The procedure of the lesson.
I. Beginning of the lesson: to create a foreign language atmosphere.
II. Organization moment:
1. Greeting.
2. Dialogue with a pupil on duty.
Good morning, pupils! How are you doing today? Do you like today’s weather? Why/ Why not? What day is it today? What date is it today? Who is on duty today? Who is absent today?
III. Checking up the home task.
What was your home task for today? You were to make up a dialogues. So who will the first?
IV. Warm – up
Omar: Hello. Can I have a cheese sandwich, please?
Waiter: Here you are.
Anything else?
Omar: A cup of tea, please.
Waiter: Here you are
Omar: How much is that?
Waiter: That’s 180 tenge. Thank you
Omar: Thank you. Good bye!
Waiter: Bye!
