Aims of the lesson:
a) practical: to read and learn new texts, new words, to consolidate The degrees of comparison, to enable students to exploit the material during doing the exercises.
b) developing: to develop students’ logical thinking, imagination, reading, speaking, listening and writing skills.
c) educative: to build students’ humanity, to encourage being industrious, love the mother tongue and respect foreign languages.
Type of the lesson: mixed.
Visual aids: a projector, a blackboard, chalk, slides, a textbook, cards, handouts.
Methods: answer – question, games, grouping.

II. Warm up. Brainstorm.
Students, imagine that you are going to a desert island for a month. Each group can take only 5 things apart from basic food and clothing. (3 min)
Aim of this game is to create an English — speaking atmosphere.
III. Introduction of a new material.
Aims: to read new words, to practice the degrees of comparison,to do exercises.
